Trying to get everything done!
We're going in for the induction because of my preeclampsia in just under 3 hours. My family is out of state and will not be coming for the birth. My husband's family, on the other hand, definitely will. And they're neat freaks. His brother once compared my house to a hoarders house because there were magazines and papers on the tables when he stopped by unexpectedly. And asked if we owned a broom, which is harsh because we have dogs and cats and I swear to god I'm sweeping constantly. So OBVIOUSLY, I'm stressed about the state of the house.
And now my charming husband has fallen asleep. He's been asleep for more than an hour and I've done everything I can that won't wake him up, but now I really need to get into our bathroom or work with the vacuum and I can't because he's sleeping. It's not him that will be criticized for the house being dirty. I've tried waking him but he just shrugs me off. I shouldn't even BE cleaning, I'm on bed rest, but I only have to survive for 3 more hours till I'm in the hospital. He took the day off work to help get things ready and all he's done is change the kitty litter and fix a broken drawer and now the nap. I'm losing my damn mind over here.
