Midwives clinics Or Reg Obgyns???

Which one was your choice? & Pros/Cons... i have a midwive for my second/current pregnancy and heard sketchy things about them? Please help!

You'll hear sketchy things about everyone. Its whatever you feel comfortable with. Ive always just went with obgyn bit would love to look into midwife

I chose a midwife for my pregnancy. I've heard sketchy things about them, but then again I've also heard sketchy things about OBs. It varies person to person, midwives aren't inherently sketchy lol. I've loved my midwives, they give me the voice I need, and help me to advocate for myself. They never make me feel trapped in a decision, there's always an option for me. They are very kind and wonderful, and I like that they aren't OBs because every OB I tried working with was just very clinical and made me feel like another chart, rather than an individual. I switched multiple times, trying out two OBs and three midwifery practices before finding the two ladies I'm with now. I recommend switching and testing the waters with a provider if at any time you feel uncomfortable or just don't feel like you're clicking.  ❤️

Choose who you feel comfortable with. If you've heard sketchy things about these specific midwives and you're uncomfortable with them then you could try the OB. If you choose one and you aren't 100% comfortable with them then you can always switch.

I actually have both due to complications. My first was only OB though. I enjoyed having both because the OB (in my opinion) is more medically qualitied, I mean hes a doctor. However I love having midwives because they give you options and really give you time for all Your questions. I also like that I can call the mdiwive at any time with my questions or concerns instead of having to go to hospital. 
I think for a normal uncomplicated pregnancy midwife is the way to go but with any sort of issue OB is probably best. Either way is a very personal decision and I think as long as you get some sort of prenatal care that's the most important thing 😊
