Contractions stopped! 😭

Was having contractions all morning and afternoon, lost my mucus plug around 5pm. Then had intense contractions for another two hours. And now they've stopped😭 I was certain this was it! Has this happen to anyone else and if so when did you go into "actual" labour!?
