No depo messes with your system too much! I was on it for 2 years and it took almost a year for my period to come back. Also it stopped my periods completely but I had major mood swings.

I hated it! I lost 60lbs and looked sick. My pelvis had so much pain in it and they couldn't figure out the cause other than it was probably the shot (started when I started the shot and stopped a month after the shot). I was super moody and mean too. Once it was out of my system I felt so much better. It was more convenient but it wasn't worth all the issues it was causing.
