Has anyone had a cervix sweep or membrane sweep?

Was it successful and how long after did you go into labour?

I had one with my last pregnancy, it didn't work for me I just felt crampy and achy for a couple hours but it never started my labor, my baby was born a couple weeks later.

I did. Went into labor 7 hours later

Didn't work for me! A lot of pain for nothing. Still had to be induced at 41 weeks😓

Ive had 5 babies. It only seemed to work for the last one. He was born the following day.. Id still say get it done. It doesnt hurt. May be a little uncomfortable.  It may work so go for it.

I had one done at 37 weeks and had baby exactly 24 hours later

I had 2 sweeps with my 1st son. They didn't work for me. X

For both my pregnancies, I started leaking water soon after but didn't go into labor, I ultimately had to be induced. They were about to induce me in a few days anyway due to GD, but for this pregnancy in going to request they not do it.

From what I've heard if baby isn't ready it's not going to make a difference. But ftm here so no experience with it yet.
