Manual or Electric?

Which one are you going to buy or did buy? Not sure if I should buy a manual breast pump or an electric one. I probably won't use it all of the time cause I want to try and breast feed but it will help me out that way her daddy can get up and feed her too and will make it easier if the boob isn't around or available at the time lol

I have both. I have a manual pump from last time and bought a double electric pump this time around hoping I can breastfeed longer then 3 months this time. I didn't nurse my first at all he had a hard enough time taking a bottle...and I had a really bad recovery from my emergency csection

Electric if you're going to be pumping often. Manual is great for less frequent pumping, it's super portable, but a pain to do every day. I have both, the electric I got through insurance.

Manual makes you feel like your hands are doing to fall off.

Yeah, our lactation consultant suggested that the manual one is good to keep in your purse in case you are out and about and don't want to lose out. But that the electric is important for regular use. 
I'm obv not experienced yet but that's what we were advised.

I have both!  I got an electric one through my insurance, which will be the one I use most often.  I read on a couple of breastfeeding websites that using a manual pump while breastfeeding can help your supply, or at least not let anything go to waste.  If you're going to let down with both breasts during a feeding you might as well save what you can!
