Contractions?

Question

I am a FTM and have been experiencing some cramping pains for the last 2 days and was wondering what what exactly do contractions feel like. Could I be experiencing Braxton hicks?

Could be Braxton hicks, my doctor says if you start to feel one and can sit down and relax ( try taking a nap, drink lots of water) if you're able to relax its Braxton hicks. Now there's no stopping labor, if it's a contraction not a thing is gonna help you.

Contractions feel like a rhythmic tightening that goes across your belly, increases in pain, then fades away. They're hard to describe but once you have a few in a row they'll be recognizable.
