Glucose Tolerance Test - normal sugar, low insulin
Hi all, I just got my glucose tolerance test results:
Fasting sugar 89; insulin 5
1 hr 79; insulin 17.9
2 HR 96; insulin 18.1
The 1+2 HR insulin normal range is 40-75...
My doctors office is closed and I'm kinda freaked out. Does anyone know why my insulin levels would be so low?
I'm hypothyroid (treated and slightly hyperthyroid under treatment).
Really hoping an altruistic doctor/someone who's had a similar result can shed some light.
Thanks for your help!!
