Glider/Rocker -- Do we need it?

I'm having a hard time finding a rocking chair or glider that matches our taste AT ALL & I'm wondering if it's really worth it to spend $300+ on a chair we don't even like the design of!

Would love thoughts from other mamas. ❤️ Thanks a bunch!

I always loved having something to rock my love in. I have always found mine on Facebook yardsales in great shape and the one I just got was $40. Not the nice big recliner type but had the glider and ottoman and is neutral and I love it!

For me a rocker is essential but I had to spend a lot of money to get one that I liked and that fit the look I was going for. I wouldn't spend $300 on something you are going to hate.

I literally have a Cracker Barrel rocker in my nursery. It was not $300 and I used it a lot with my daughter so I know I'll use it a lot this time too.

I never even used one, I like to settle myself on the lounge when I feed cos I can spread myself out with water, remotes, phone, etc

I found one on a garage sale site for 30 bucks. My husband did have to fix a few things with it though. I personally would not spend 300 on a chair. We were willing to spend up to 150ish. Wayfair is where we were going to buy one.

I inherited a rocker glider that looks like a regular sofa type accent chair instead of a rocking chair.  I love it - haven't used it with baby yet cuz she's still in the belly but it's so comfy. I will admit that i was having trouble with the idea of buying one though because they're so pricey.
