Has anyone successful breastfed the second time if failing the first time?

With my first I did not realize the true dedication it takes to breastfeed. The second I was completely committed and it worked! I read more and spent more time between me, baby and my pump.

Was only able to nurse my first for the first month and my second for 15 months. I always blamed my body for my troubles with my first, but looking back I really think I was just overwhelmed and frustrated and was too stubborn and unsure to ask for help.

Hoping the same. With my first, we were in a bad situation, and my worthless BD's 7 year old brother was ripping off my blanket because 'he wanted to watch'. The boy's mother did nothing, and we were sleeping in the living room. This time around I have my own house, with an amazing support system and wonderful hubs. Going to be a SAHM and breastfeed the crap out of this little one.

I only nursed my first baby for 2-3 months and am hoping to do a year with the second! I think I was overwhelmed the first time and gave up to easy :\
