Anybody have an epidural, and no back pain to follow?

😫 I've heard so much about women who had back pain for days/months/years/permanently following their epidural. 😫 Is there a chance there are plenty of women who did NOT experience the same? Who swear by the epidural? Who would do it again in a heartbeat? Can I hear from you please? Nervous FTM over here!

I definitely won't be having an epidural.  We're having an all natural water birth at home and I wouldn't trade the pain and being 100% in control for the world.

There are so many complications that can come with epidurals, many of my friends suffer from debilitating back issues and numbness. Out bodies were CREATED to give birth! Don't let the world and the media try to scare you about what childbirth is like.  ☺ 🌸

I have had three epidurals and have never once had back pain at all...or any other side affects

I had pain DURING the epidural but that was because of the physical layout of my spine.

I've had zero pain since.

The epidural was the best thing about labor. I'd do it again without a second thought.

I have had an epidural with my first...best decision ever.  I didn't get one with my second...he came too fast.   If I'm lucky enough I'll get one with thus third baby.  No back pain or anything from the epidural.  Although before I had my first, I knew a mom who said every time it rained  the spot on her back would ache.  Almost scared me out of getting one but thankfully I didn't listen

I wish!!! And as the older I've gotten the worse by back has gotten. However it's not gonna stop me getting one this go around.

Meee! It was a wonderful decision for me and I plan on doing it again this second time. My delivery day was fairly painless, quiet and peaceful. I was even able to take a nap which was great to refresh my energy. I had no pain or lingering side effects.
