Feeding schedule and sleeping question?
My 7 week old had been going for a week or so eating 5-6oz every 4 hrs. 7, 11, 3, 7. Then a midnight(ish) feed and a 3:30am that started stetching to 4:45. I was trying to wean that 4:45am to just a couple of oz since he eats at 7am. The one time I gave him a full bottle he almost completely refused his breakfast bottle. Well last night was just a total disaster. Waking every 2.5 hrs or so...sometimes wanted a bottle, sometimes not. I don't mind a feed at night but trying to eliminate at least one. Today, I'm reverting back to eating every 3 hours and he seems to be taking as much. What are my chances that the extra oz during the day will have him sleeping better at night?
Note: we've also started experimenting with NOT swaddling as he's started rolling on his side. So that may have something to do with his restlessness but I'm afraid I'll get him sleeping through the night and then when we ditch the swaddle, we'll be starting all over. Sorry for the massive post - any tips greatly appreciated!!!
