Will baby come today!?

I'm 4cm dilated but not thinned out enough to admit. My midwife said today or at least before next week! Should I try labor inducing stuff?

I'm 37+1 weeks and was told it's fine to start at home inducing by walking, having sex, exercise ball, nipple stimulation, elliptical, etc. I am 3cm dilated and 60% effaced as of Saturday when I was 36+6.

I was told no castor oil and that tea and pineapple don't work. ;)

As a 4th time mom, MOST natural induction techniques do it work unless you're already progressing. Since I'm showing progression, I have walked a lot today, will have sex, did some nipple stimulation, and worked with the ball. Fingers crossed that something will kickstart it the rest of the way. My doctor thinks I won't make it to Friday. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

I went back in tonight and am still 4cm but thinned out to 50%. Contractions are getting increasingly painful. The midwife said she hopes to see me back in tonight so fingers crossed!
I walked a bit today and mopped the house so obviously all the movement is helping.
