Hen night advice please???
I posted a question on glow before and it was deleted for some strange reason so I hope this one isn't deleted!
I am getting married in September and we are half eloping. We're going away for both the ceremony and honeymoon by ourselves, but everyone knows about it - so half/ half.
As far as I knew, everyone was ok with it but now a couple of my friends from work and a friend of many years have told me they'd at least like to go to a hen party or something as no one can come to our wedding.
I live in Surrey and I know that Dreamboys in Clapham is the closest to me but I already saw them in Edinburgh and got bored (and quite annoyed) with the drag queen when I was there on my friend's hen party.
I would love to go to a spa, dinner, strip club then drinks as a hen party. Can anyone else suggest a strip show besides Dreamboys around that area of London? I am in Mitcham.
I'd like to be able to organise something like this so my friends feel at least a little included in our plans. We're going away because my family is split. My mum lives in London and can't travel far at all as she is now disabled and recovering from cancer surgery and my dad lives in Cornwall and has my disabled half brother to look after so he can't travel far either. Middle is too far for either and if we do it in one place, the other side can't come - just easier to go away so no one is left out, because no one is included. Friends can't go either because we're going back to Barbados where we got engaged last year.
