BREAST IMPLANTS and can still breastfeed?

How many of you have had implants and can still breast feed? Or couldn't 😩😩

I had no problems breastfeeding with mine.

My friend had them under the muscle and no problems.

My friend breast fed 2 babies with implants, but like someone else said it depends on how they placed the implants. Check with your doctor or midwife, or a lactation specialist as they might have more knowledge. It's not necessarily impossible. Best of luck :)

I'm a midwife and it really depends on how much they 'touched' all the mammary glands. Usually they put the implant behind the breast tissue. I've seen some women have no issues and then some women be unable to produce enough milk. I think it is that wait and see kind of scenario. But I would see a lactation consultant or discuss it with your midwife prior to birth.

I know with nipple piercings you can still breastfeed. I'm not sure with breast implants, I'd Google it. Or ask your doctor
