Non invasive prenatal screening
Hi All
While discussing with my ObGyn,they talked about Non Invasive Prenatal screening(CPT Code 81420),which is done to determine if the baby is having any genetic anomalies like Down Syndrome etc.
They have asked us if we wish to opt for those tests. This test is usually done after 9 weeks.
I just want to know if anyone of you were asked the same question.
I'm 25 and have no history of genetic anomalies in my family and this is my first pregnancy. Should I take this test?
