But how is my oral health good for your baby? Im a ftm and clueless on everything.... Every piece of info is helpful to me

I know that dental problems can cause complications. I also have been told that a tooth infection can enter the bloodstream and is able to cross the placenta.

Well bad oral hygiene in general is horrible. If you get a serious infection, it could get into your bloodstream and go to your heart which could be fatal. Bad oral hygiene during pregnancy could lead to even more issues at birth though including low birth weight or even premature labour.

If you do not take care of your teeth and you get an abscess infection or any type of periodontal disease it will cause problems in your pregnancy.

I don't understand your question. But pregnancy can often lead to a deterioration of your dental health. I had to get two root canals during my last pregnancy.
