Sickness in second trimester?

I had severe nausea in my first trimester but never vomitted. Now I'm 14w6d and threw up!? What?? I thought it was supposed to get BETTER after 1st trimester lol. And my nausea /heightened sense of smell has gotten worse the past few days. Is this normal? First time mom here, sorry if this is a stupid question.

First off congrats! Every pregnancy is different. Some women have morning sickness( which can strike any time of day) usually in the first trimester. However don't be alarmed if it still lasts. I'm 34 weeks pregnant with my second baby and I'm on prescription anti nausea medication because it got worse in the second trimester. Talk to your OB and see what your options are for nausea. No need in being miserable during your whole pregnancy! Good luck girly!

I've been taking a medicine called diclegis ever since I was 10 weeks and it was a life saver. I started to throw up every day and ever since then I've been happy. I tried to stop taking it around 13 weeks and threw up so I started taking it again. I'm 18 weeks now and I still take it, but when I first started I took 3 a day and now I only take 2 and I feel great. I highly recommended it because it's made specifically for pregnant women
