My 4hour labor pitocin birth story.

Stevie • Mom of 3.

I was originally due on 6-12-16 but baby wanted to be induced on 6-21-16.

My sister came over the night before my induction. The moon was full, and we stayed up all night doing face swap, plucking eyebrows and blessing mustaches. We didn't sleep at all. So 4am rolled around and we woke up the kids and set off for the hospital. (Of course my hubby worked that night and brought me home chicken tenders, cheeseburger, milk shake and cheese fries) they told me to eat a lite breakfast. :P this was 1 hour prior and everything turned out fine. I didn't vomit or feel sick. So. Get to hospital at 5am, set up on monitors, set up on pitocin, and was a 3cm and 0% effaced. Blah. They say you are not in labor just from pitocin, u have to actually start having contractions. And, of course they didn't start until 8am. After that things went quick and PAINFUL. I WAS 7cm and 80% effaced by 11, and then they sat me up on all fours, things got to rolling... I went immediately to a 9 and was ready to push. I was crying by this point. Fighting against my self Not to get an epidural, BUT I WANTED ONE, even though I wanted one, I did not get one, what the duck was I thinking, because it hurt like the devil. Anyways I flipped over and bam, one push.... but his head sucked back in. Another push, they stretched my cervix open to help.. bam his head was out, one last push for the shoulders, legs spread eagle and hands gripping the side rails. He was out, he was in my arms. It hurt like hell. Pitocin was way worse than natural contractions. Wayyyyyyyyyyyyy worse. Like 1,0000 times worse. I was in pain, I wanted the epidural, I didn't get one, I didn't want to be a pussy. I had him at 12:13 he was 7lb 8oz 20 1/2 inches long 6-21-16. My lil man. I'll never get preggo again with pitocin and not get epidural. :) Thx ladies. No stitches, no selling, no hemmoraging, no complications. Just cramps from this period because there's still pitocin my siren.
