Question

This is for moms who have already gave birth? How is it? is it hard to take care of yourself? is bleeding like a period or constantly just coming out? do you hurt? Does your belly feel weird since nothing's in there anymore?? I'm scared for after birth??

I bled super heavy for like maybe two days like when I stood up it gushed but then was light and was done by a week..I did breastfeed though and I know that helps...your stomach will feel weird and kinda uncomfortable I really liked the mother Tucker compression tanks or would recommend something like a belly bandit did that with my third and was sooo much better, lady bits will be Lil sore mine weren't to bad couple days of ice packs is all but I was lucky no stitches ever or anything ...pine apple juice helps with the swelling I drank it during labor made a huge difference ! Just keep up with the ibuprofen first few days it's not so bad !

It depends on the person and what kind of birth you have (caesarean, natural, medicated). My first was the hardest to recover from. I had an episiotomy that I didn't consent to. I tore a bit with the other two and it was much easier. My after birth "period" was like a normal period, but lasted 4-6 weeks. It's hard at times to take care of yourself afterwards, but you'll get into a groove and things won't feel so hectic. You got this girl!

It depends everybody is different but from my personal experience it really wasnt that bad i bounced back in no time i was up cleaning the hospital room the day i had her lol i had a vaginal birth n had 9 stitches n the only pain meds i was on was 600mg motrin n i was fine with that but i also have a high pain tolerance i just remember my first time showering after i had her n i felt my vagina n i was mortified at how hangy it was lol don't worry it'll go back to normal mine did after like a week or two n i was scared to pee but it really didn't hurt I've heard it burns but mine didn't but my bestfriend was tucks pads i would line my pad up with them n it was such a relief i think they helped me heal faster too n i only bled heavy for like 3 days n then it was just like a normal period for 5 weeks n then i stopped bleeding completely n after i had her my periods only lasted 3 days to where before i had her they would last a whole week if u have anymore ?s feel free to ask.
