Mucus Plug and Spotting question, help!

Okay, so I orgasmed a couple of weeks ago, and I had brown spotting afterward. I went to the doctor, and saw a nurse practitioner instead. They did tests and found nothing wrong. Before I got the results, the np told me to lay down, and abstain from sex and orgasming. Well, long story short, I had to basically hound them for my results, and I was only able to talk to a nurse, not even my nurse practitioner! She said everything looked fine. However, they never gave me any medical advice on whether I can go walking again, or have sex. I can't get any advice either as they are impossible to get a hold of. I assumed I could resume normal activity since all was fine. So I waited another two weeks and orgasmed again last night. I'm happy to say that I did not spot. However, I'm worried still. Is it possible that I could be spotting or bleeding due to the orgasm, but that it is not coming out because of my mucus plug? Could I be harming my baby by accumulating too much blood? Is that even something that could happen? Also, how do women spot well after their mucus plug is formed? Please help! I admit, I don't know a lot about this things.
