Bra sizes after a D????

Scarlett • Have courage and be kind. Cinderella
Why are bra sizes all weird after a D??? I mean if it were numbers we wouldn't go 1,2,3,4,44,444,5 (as in A, B, C, D, DD, DDD, E). And then so many places do it differently it makes it super hard after a D. When people ask what size its like... I mean D3 in universal, most call tht DDD, some places call that size E, some call it F.
Im currently a D4 in universal. VS labeled that an F. Most places call it E. JCPenny actually has my size, but they call it a G. Their sizes go D, DD, D(DD), G, H. Bras over a D are already hard to find, so who felt the need to make it ridiculously confusing as well??
Seriously, if you know please tell me.

There you go. DD is the equivalent of E, DDD the equivalent of F, then on to G, H and so on.

Oh, I'm not sure it was just a general bra size chart. But I think this is how most places size their bras

Cool! JCP does theirs the same way. I was wondering more about the reason behind it. Is this a European brand?

Those sizes are the same as I showed above... You just continued up in sizes. It might be different wherever you live, or because you have a very large cup. But in my search for bras, Im a different size in every brand or store. Here are JCP sizes. Here are panache sizes. Here are Curvy Kate sizes. Here are Chantelle sizes. All different systems. In VS I was measured and they told me I would be in a cup size after DDD. they don't carry that size, but they said it was an E or an F most places.
