Bicornuate uterus and success? Pls help

Hi ladies, I m 8 weeks pregnant. I have just been told I have bicornuate uterus- the doc can't find the baby on scan at 8 weeks but could see the sac at 5 weeks. I have had no bleeding since 8 weeks. Doc has booked me in for 3D scan has anyone gone through this and found a healthy baby just hiding somewhere ! 
Any advise will help keep me motivated and confident 🙏🏻

Don't worry, recently heard a woman share a similar situation where doctors could only see the yolk sac and insisted the woman induce a miscarriage. She wisely refused even though docs claimed the baby was dead and if she didn't induce a miscarriage (which I didn't even know you could do) that she would become very ill. Within a couple weeks they checked again and turned out she was carrying a perfectly healthy baby. Got to hear the heartbeat and all... I think doctors tend to not be super familiar with bicornuate uterus patients since it isn't very common and can be difficult to navigate visually during an ultrasound. You're little one is probably just working on his/her hide-and-seek skills ;)

UPDATE: I went for 3D scan - the tech told me my uterus is normal and not bicornuate. However my sac measures only 9mm at 9 weeks 1 day this is from my last LMP. I told her I know exactly when I ovulated and although it counts 9 weeks but I may not be further along at this time of scan - from my ovulation I think I m only 6 weeks 3 days however they didn't consider that and concluded it to be a failed pregnancy.  We left the clinic feeling devasted - our only hope is the blood test results.. Has anyone gone through this ?

So good to hear the stories from you ladies - thanks for all your support. I'm going for a 3D scan this morning ( Australia) hoping the pic would be more clearer than. I shall keep u all posted - it's our first and we are hoping to see him. Keep us in your prayers 🙏🏻🙏🏻

My good friend has it too and has four healthy kiddos, she did have to have them all c section and I know she had at least one miscarriage.  Number one was 6-7 weeks early, no 2 was a little early and the others were full term.

My mom had this and didn't find out until she had a hysterectomy in her 50s! She had three healthy pregnancies, carried to term, and had three healthy kids. I'm one of them.

I have a bicornuate uterus as well. When I was pregnant with my daughter she was in the right horn and now this one is also in the right horn. My daughter ended up being breech and the docs said that 90% of babies that are in our type of uterus are breech due to the fact that they don't have enough room to turn. So I'm banking this one will also be a breech baby.

I have a 2 year old daughter that I had her on my right horn, I had previous pregnancies that failed because they're in my left horn, nobody is being able to explain why. Why my daughter I was told I need to get C-section at 37 weeks because we that have this original shape can't deliver naturaly. I got a second opinion and was able to have my baby natural at 40 weeks 2 days ♡ best pregnancy and everything went so smooth. 
This time I'm carrying on the right again, I believe their twins and not sure how that will go, but God does know. I went at 5 weeks can't see nothing just the sac, went at 8 weeks and nothing, I'm going today so 🙏 I will see something.
