Online schooling?

Question

Has anyone done online courses and if so what online school did you use? I'd love to major in something and I'd like to do it online since I have a baby on the way and keep my niece during the week.

I've been doing my masters online with American Military University, who are part of APUS - American Public University System. The costs are manageable and the school's online platform is easy to navigate (though I never found much in their library, perhaps it was the subject matter). It has been challenging and I had one professor who I will never take a class with again because I feel like he was entirely unprofessional in his response to my final paper. The others were good though and the standard of teaching was very high.

Find an instate Uni or community college.

I've worked for online colleges like Capella and university of Phoenix. They are really there to tap out all your financial aid in every way possible. If your locally, you may even get a refund and still earn your degree with no hefty loans. Good luck!

I did Marion technical school and central Ohio technical school.  one thing  to online schooling is that if your a not motivated person DO NOT DO ONLINE. You have to be motivated to do the courses and class work and everything. I'm a motivated person so I got a whole semester done in two weeks. But if your not motivated due dates will kick your ass and the teachers or professors will generally not accept late work because it's available at the beginning to do and you have to keep track of due dates. I enjoyed it because I could work at my own fast pace. I got a whole semester class done in two weeks. But if your a slow worker who has trouble normally or not motivated then online is not best for you
