When to start buying things for the baby please help

This is my first baby and I am 21 weeks no complications thank god. I am scared to start buying things for the baby. My So and I have saved up cash for him (it's a boy) but I am reluctant to spend but don't want to wait too long to where I am rushing. Hubby is better than me he purchased a crib a month ago but that is all we have. 😕 what should I do.

I am 20 weeks and have only bought some onsies , my husband is currently deployed but he will be back when I am 24 weeks (thank god ) . We are going to start buying big stuff then . I did my registry last week and it just gives a good idea of what you need and bought and what is left to buy

I totally get what you're saying. I'm not a first time mom, but my oldest son (I'm having another boy!) is eleven, so I don't honestly remember when I started buying for him. Also, I was fairly young and my pregnancy was unexpected with him, so I didn't plan on doing the crib thing and all of that. But, with this baby, I plan on doing a complete nursery and everything, but don't want to move too soon. I've bought a few little onesies that were too cute to pass up, and I've decided to do my registries this weekend. I figured once I do the registries, I'll be in full excitement mode and will not be able to resist putting his nursery together. Maybe start there and eventually you'll stop worrying about whether it's too soon because you'll be too consumed with all things baby lol

21 weeks Have purchased a mamaroo swing, clothes, all our cloth diapers and wipes, some cute onsies and sleepers and a boppy, all on clearance  (except diapers) we have to wait to make big purchases as we are moving in a month so probably start big ourchases at 28 weeks or so.

I'm 21 weeks and 3 days with twins. We've have diapers and wipes saved up and have also bought each baby some clothes. (And bows for the girl. Because that's a necessity lol!) we've also finished painting our nursery and are currently putting together the dresser!

We just bought our first clothing items the other day. So we now have two things. We find out what we are having on the 30th.  I am also worried about buying tons of stuff, so we are holding off. Especially since the baby's room is being renovated at the moment. However my mother has already started collecting stuff. She has a crib someone gave us, as well as a pack-n-play, stroller and a stationary play stander.

It's up to you really. I'd say really start stocking up at 25+ weeks, after the baby is viable just in case God forbid anything happens and they're born early. I'm 21 weeks and have only gotten clothes, some wipes, random toiletries, and my mom and friends have bought me a bunch of stuff. But I'm waiting until my shower to get big things.

I'm 19 weeks and we've bought too much already in my opinion but we keep finding good deals 😆. We already bought a mamaroo, halo bassinest, 4moms bath, baby brezza, baby bullet, pacifiers, a hat and about 15 onesies. We can't stop!!!

We wanted to wait until at least anatomy scan since the guys on both sides are over 6 ft tall but the females are usually no taller then 5ft 4 in.  My best advice is to look at the spine.  If it is long, the baby will be tall and expect some major growth spurts throughout his/her life.  Knowing how long the spine is can clue you in on what your plans should also include.  My baby is in the 92 percentile so we are planning to skip to the 3 month old size clothes since his spine is very long.  I am have baby blankets custom made to his height.  This is our second rodeo with a baby being tall.
