Whichever way you choose to get through labour. There is no 'better' or 'right' way. Everyone is different.

Natural is "best" in terms of -no meds pumped into your baby to make them groggy or anything 
That doesn't mean epidurals are wrong or "bad" at all! If natural is too painful it'll stress out both you and baby which isn't good either.

The BEST labor is the one that results in a healthy and happy baby and mama. ♡♡ no shame either way! (Or for c section for that matter)

I can only answer for natural because that's all I've done but it's what's best for you. I just know that with all 5 labors (natural) I've been up and caring for myself and baby within hours of labor. I will be going natural again this baby and hope for the same outcome.

I think the labor that's best is what ever works for you and delivers baby safely and is safe for you. I had a vaginal delivery not induced and an epidural and that was best for us. I say go in with what you would like "birth plan" knowing that baby will dictate any changes.

I had both of mine without pain meds.. it was painful but i got through it. Its totally up to you!
