Never again. 😥

Will I step on the damn scale. Idk why I do this to myself, I had my son on 2/19 and had lost like 30lbs (I'm 5'0 and only gained 8 lbs) but I started at 194 so I'm not a small girl but I was so excited to be down to the 180 and I'm breastfeeding and thought hey I'll lose more weight. Wrong. I'm officially At 200 and I feel so gross, i know I don't eat the greatest as my son is going through sleep regression also I have an autistic 6 yr old. I'm so exhausted and coffee/caffeine are my lifelines. Moral of the story I found myself crying in the shower hiding from my kids. And texting my husband hoping he still finds me sexy. Ugh. First after baby breakdown.

Same 😔 it's weird for me because I've never had an issue with being heavy. Pre-pregnancy, I was 140 & in great shape. I always had a little bit of a stomach, but I was happy with my body. I got up to 200lbs & then was down at 175 about 1 week pp and stuck there. Around 2 months pp, I stepped on the scale to find that I was 185. I've now been going to the gym religiously for 3 weeks & have seen no signs of improvement yet. 😖 It's so discouraging.

Nursing has made me hold the weight no matter how healthy I eat or how much I work out. I figure I'll lose it after he's done nursing!

Drink LOTS of water, eat healthy and go on walks a couple times a week with your lo!! The easiest way for me to keep up eating healthy is to meal prep for the week every Sunday! So I literally just have to grab a meal and heat it up:) i personally just stick to fruits, veggies, protein and healthy carbs (brown rice/whole grain bread) the goal is to just maintain a healthy lifestyle... Crash dieting and magic weight loss teas don't work long term!

My son is going thru the 4 month sleep regression too but regardless never has slept longer than a 2 hour stretch at night so I feel your pain but you will feel better if you take care of yourself. Eating good foods will give you more energy! And go for walks with your lo! That'll give you more

Keep snacks like fruits and veggies around that are easy to grab and go

I hear ya. I lost 8 pounds after my lo was born. Now nearly 5 months later I have gained the 8 pounds back plus 2.....I feel like a fat blob. I honestly thought by ebf that the weight would fall off.

Don't be so hard on yourself because your children is not going to care if your a size zero but the love you have for them. How about making protein shakes the night before that you can grab and go. Have a friend come over and cook with you so you can freeze meals for later. I started buying precit veggies so its easier to make dinners. I also go on more walks since its getting nicer out. Dont go on the scale because the BMI is nothing but BS and you should just try to feel healthy. You need to make sure you take care of yourself like how they instruct you on the plane with oxygen masks. Just enjoy your moments with your little ones while they are still little.

Don't feel bad! I was the same way. Then I started Beachbody and it got me on the track to lose weight. I lost 9 pounds in 10 days! Now I'm at my goal weight in only a month. I would drink coffee every morning but now I drink shakeology and it gets me through the entire day with no crash. I literally feel amazing. Better than I did before my two kids!

I have been wondering if it's ok to drink shakeology while breastfeeding...?

I feel you. I've gained 15 since having my daughter. Never happened with my other pregnancies, I think breastfeeding is making me GAIN instead of losing. It sucks bc I love breastfeeding and my daughter nurses to sleep, but I can't believe I've gained weight. I'm not a super health nut, but I also don't eat fast food or eat crap all day so I'm really confused. Just have to wait a little bit longer for my daughter to get bigger so I can go to the gym again. I live in south Florida it's too damn hot to exercise outside.

Yeah I live near the intercostal but like you said it's too hot. I just found out my gym allows 3 months and older so I can finally go back. Hopefully I can find the energy now haha

I really want to walk since we live next to a great park with trails but I like in oklahoma and its soooo hot here and with two kids it's so hard to go walking especially with my 6 yr old she's autistic so walking with her is out!

I have gained weight since breast feeding too! The only solace I can take is that I remember I used to go to the gym religiously and I could never lose the weight I wanted and when I stopped it was like the weight just fell off. Sometimes when we are burning an insane number of calories I think folks like me tend to over compensate because we are ravenously hungry! So I'm hoping once I am no longer breast feeding it will be easier to lose this weight :\

Don't beat yourself up. It took 9 months to gain and it's a long process to lose. I'm 5'0" as well. I started at 175 with my second and gained 7lbs. A week after I had my baby I dropped to 169. My baby is 4 months and I'm 182. I do not eat as well as I should and I started medication for anxiety which is causing tiredness and hunger which is making it 10x worse. So my mom and I are signing up for a gym membership and my husband and I are stocking up with healthy and filling food. Best of luck to you on your weight loss journey and enjoy being a mommy!
