Where are good places to register and why? Definitely doing target but curious about benefits of other places

We did Babies R Us for typical store stuff, & Babylist for others - particularly for nursery decorations, so we could put stuff from Etsy & Land of Nod, etc :)

Babies R Us gives you money back. If people buy $300 or less worth of stuff off your registry, you get 6% back in a gift card. For anything beyond $300, you get 10% back. Plus you get a gift bag when you sign up. I love it!

Making them everywhere to get goody bags , but I would only give out babies r us info to people ... You get 10% back on the amount bought off ur registry ... My son just turned 4 months and we still haven't needed to spend any money out of pocket at babies r us between the cash back and exchanges ... Plus I get constant cash back rewards for shopping there ... I didn't originally want to do babies r us, but no one could beat their program ... Plus they will take bed bath and beyond or bye bye baby coupons :) ... Only agrivation is that you must have the original packaging to return an item even from your registry

Target of course gives completion discount & free gift bag. I also liked the checklist & the ease of finding things. Babies r us also gives completion discount & possibly a gift bag. I've heard some say they do some say they don't. I have yet to go to a store & ask. I liked their checklist more than target bc it was more detailed & included amounts of things to buy & little things that I wouldn't have thought of adding. If you have Amazon prime you can also get a free sample box from them & I think I've heard Wal-Mart might do the same.
