Yesterday I was cramping real bad so my first thought was "oh great here comes my monthly subscription to Satan's waterfall" but I'm on birth control and have been for a while, my body has already adjusted to it so I thought maybe I was wrong, just a upset stomach. So I went to the bathroom and I apparently had started, so I popped in a cotton cork (what my husband calls tampons) and a little bit later my cramps got horrible, so I went to the bathroom to change my tampon and it felt weird coming out so I looked at it. I had two nasty looking blood clots that were connected by this dry thick clear film but it had veins in it. Then this morning after I changed my tampon I had to change it again after about 30min and the picture is what came out. It was so big that the other half of it fell off, and the rest wrapped around the entire tampon with a thick blob at the bottom. I am sexually active, and was having pregnancy symptoms, which yes can be the same as PMS. If I was pregnant i would be around 3-4 weeks. My cramps have got to the point of making me cry, and in the 6 years I've had my period I've never had anything like this or the clear film with veins, could I be having a miscarriage? I only ask because I've had one before and the pain hurt this bad. My doctor isn't in till Monday so I have to wait till then to see anyone approved by my insurance.
