Does ginger induce anyone's period?

I've been having a lot of fresh pressed ginger juice because I work in a health food store and I love it in my water! I think the strength of it has induced my period by a week, even though I'm on birth control. I've done it before with ginger tea as well. Maybe I'm just super sensitive to it, but curious to see if people use this trick or find that it has happened to them too. Thanks!
