Can having strong surprises/emotions during pregnancy hurt the baby?
Today I got one of the biggest surprises of my life. I was at a bar-b-que with some friends and we took a group picture. When I saw the picture I saw my whole family (parents, sisters and in-laws) in the back. I started screaming in surprise/shock. I turned around and there they were. They live thousands of miles away and I had been sad I wouldn't be able to visit them while pregnant and they would miss out on the belly, specially this being the first grandchild in the family, due to the Zika virus being a danger back home. I was crying and screaming having a happiness attack.
Now my husband, my dad and I are worried such a strong reaction could have hurt the baby. Is that possible? I am currently 33 weeks.
