What to take to hospital

I hear and read different things... What do I really need to take when I go into labor?

Answer

Well it really depends. With my son I didn't bring my own pillow or blanket and I was very uncomfortable. So this time I will be bringing my own pillow and small blanket for after delivery. 
Change of clothes for going home for you and baby. Something very loose fitting. I will be wearing a maxi dress home. 
I will be using hospital underwear for trip home. 
Specifically during labor you don't need much maybe some Chapstick. 
I am bringing my own tooth brush and paste 
The hospital does provide. 
My own shampoo and conditioner. 
Brush 
Camera 
Phone charger
Nursing bra and pads incase milk comes in you never know when. 
Nipple cream for sure ! 
Other than that hospital provides diapers for baby and onsies and blanket while at hospital. And some to take home. 
So a thin blanket for taking baby home. 
That's about all I can think of. Even some of that is up to you.

I'm definitely bringing an extension cord 😂
I had a short hospital stay for some cramps and bleeding at 22w and the first thing I noticed was the plug in was too far away and I could be on my phone.
I hope to use my phone as a distraction from pain when I actually do go in labor.
My fiance also noted he will be bringing extra blankets and pillows bc his bed was super uncomfortable.
