Positive....when did you first go to doc?

Question

Got 2 positives on saturday night. Estimating on a pregnany app that i am 3 weeks 6 days preg. Going by my last period may 31.
Anyways
When you first got your positive, when did you go to doctor??? I called 3 diff offices with more than a month wait!!!!!! Finally found someone who can get me in on july 14th. Soonest i could find. 
Is it normal to wait 2 wks to go to doctors for first visit? For pregnancy i mean.

I saw my doc at 4 weeks to confirm pregnancy but my doctor wouldn't even listen to the baby's heart beat until 12 weeks and I didn't have an ultrasound until I was 19 weeks to conform gender lol

My Dr won't see me before 8 weeks. Even with me having problems this last pregnancy he said I'll fill the prescription over the phone then see you at 8 weeks

I had to wait a while, they usually don't want to see you before 8 weeks because then it's to early to see anything. your first appt will just be confirmation of pregnancy and registration, I didn't even see a doctor at my first visit.

My doctor won't see u until you are 8 weeks. All they can do until then is blood work. If you get an US before 8 weeks they might not be able to see baby and sac and then they will make you concerned thinking something is wrong.

I had to wait until I was close to 8 weeks pregnant. I was taken in at 7 weeks bec I switched practioners.   They said 8 weeks bec of false readings or chemical pregnancy

I went to the doctors and got my birthing book and they booked me in too see the midwife at 10 weeks :)x

Yes that's normal.  If you go in to early there won't be much to see.   They need to wait till things develop a little
