1st cycle of clomid started in June, now what?!

I have had super irregular periods the past year that my bf and I have been ttc and its been 28-47 days apart for my periods. So my Dr, who delivered my first two children(different father), believe I'm just needing a boost to ovulate so I started with 50mg of clomid this month and I'm finally in my fertile zone and I just hope it works this first time! Its hard trying not to think about it but still so exciting. Anyone else in a similar situation?? Hoping its just my weird hormones and stress levels.
