Pain on left side?!

5 weeks and 2 days pregnant

I have a very hard, dull, cramping, on my left side close to my ovary. The pain extends a little into my thigh and lower back. It's not excruciating, but it kind of feels like the sciatica I had when I had my first child. Anyone have this feeling early in pregnancy?  Paranoid a little after TTC for two years after my miscarriage.

My doc recently told me "anything worse than period pain" should be investigated. It won't hurt to get a referral for an early scan, or even go to ED if it's concerning enough. An ectopic pregnancy can kill and it is worth ruling it out if you're having unusual pain. It's probably nothing, it's usually nothing, but it's worth checking.
