One thing that really bothered me was the gifts I receive from my father and his wife (it was coed). He showed up with a crib purchased from a yard sale that was assembled and pulled my boyfriend outside to take it apart for him the second he walked in, in 90 degree heat. My boyfriend took it like a champ even though we already have a crib (redoing and using my childhood crib set). Then we get to the opening of the gifts part of the shower and I get to another gift from them. It was more yard sale stuff! A crib bedding set that was in rough shape (we already have one), books that were falling apart, clothes, very worn out cabbage patch dolls, and a few other toys. 

Now don't get me wrong I am not a stranger to yard sales by any means!!! I have already purchased half the babies wardrobe from yard sales and many other things we need. But I feel like it was inappropriate to show up with all of these things as a gift for your daughter and first grandchilds baby shower! Without even checking if we needed these things first! Now I have all this stuff that I'm not sure what to do with and have a lot of people making me feel TERRIBLE for feeling this way. Saying I should be grateful for anything they gave us. But I feel like they could have spent that money on something from our registry that we needed instead of a yard sale. I know they spent at least $75 on all these things from price tags left on them. 

I don't want to seem ungrateful but it's really bothering me and everyone is judging me quite heavily over this. Am I being crazy?!?
