Working and need advice
I have continued to work through my pregnancy and things have gotten a little crazy. First I work for some very heartless people. I teach prek but currently running summer camp for the school I work for. The bosses try to cut corners and do not have janitors so the teacher are responsible for cleaning everything. The owner/director is very strict about the cleaning. It wasn't something I agreed with when I first started but I love the kids so I stayed. When she first found out I was pregnant she cut my hours to 20 per week and I make a 45 min drive. It was a little frustrating to pay for the gas for little hours. Now they have had people quit and started to fire people. She has taken my assistant away from me and I'm the only one without an assistant in the entire school. So now everything is placed on me. Today she had me clean my room and her room since she is also a teacher when she wants to be a day we are short staffed. I am also lifting cots with no help. They aren't heavy it's just repetitive (today it was undressing and lofting 20 cots alone). Today I sat down for 15 mins in a 8 hour shift. We get no breaks at all. I'm beyond frustrated and scared to ask for help because she will make my job worse. I just try to take my time and not push it but now at 7 months Im wore out and having to pick up slack from them firing and loosing people. Should I talk to my doctor? I need the money for savings because I plan to quit right before the baby so quiting now is not a option. I've tried to get jobs at other places but people will not hire me pregnant. Anyone's doctor put them on light duty? I just feel at a loss of what to do.
