You Have to Have Gone Through it to understand

My stepmom believes that UNTIL I have a baby for myself, I won't ever understand what it's like to be a mom or to have nurturing "mom-like" thoughts... That kind of offended me. Yes I haven't gone through labor... But, I tend to have many moments where I will be very very nurturing. She just made me feel less of a person. I'm only 19, so yea I don't have a kid, but That doesn't mean I don't know anything About caring for a child... I will be a first time mom, so obviously I won't know exactly what to do, nor did she when she had her first kid...
