When will you announce baby's name?

My husband and I are having a hard time deciding. We love the name and excited to tell people but at the same time are dreading the thought of the annoying yet inevitable comments and suggestions.

We where gonna wait till birth. But we are so set on the name we may announce at our family gender reveal on Sat.

We shared the name as soon as we decided. I found it helpful to present the name like , "we are naming him______" instead of "what do you think about the name ______". We didn't want to put our baby's name up for discussion. Our families had no choice but to accept the name.

We're keeping it secret until baby is born. We want there to be a little bit of a surprise. I wanted to keep the gender a secret too but hubby wants to scream it from the mountaintop

We are having a boy,  and he will be Jacob Kenneth. We have shared his first name but not his middle name.  We want something to be a surprise.  But I suck at keeping secrets,  so I like having something to share.

We already had a name for boy and girl picked out, so as soon as we found out, we knew her name was Emma Noelle and wanted to share it with everyone! I don't think there is any shame in wanting to wait to share the name or in announcing it right away. Some people are superstitious about sharing too soon, but do whatever you feel you want to!
