I just had my 12 week appointment. During the vaginal exam they scraped my cervix and I bled an abnormal amount according to the doctor. It was terribly uncomfortable and they put a brown salve on my cervix to stop the bleeding. When they were done and I could get dressed I noticed I was even passing what looked like tissue. Doctor found baby's heartbeat and it's about 150, and told me she thinks baby is okay so far but this bleeding was definitely not normal. She called it a "friable cervix" and she is doing tests (I think) to find out what is going on. I just got home from the appointment and I am so very uncomfortable down there and so worried about my baby. Any words of advice? Has this happened to anybody else? I'm so worked up!
