Went to dr today and I'm 1 cm dilated!! I'm 35+ 5 days and my back pain has increased so bad, as well as everything hurting. Is it possible to dilate really fast? First timer here so I have no idea! 😱

I've been 1cm since 35 weeks. Here I am at 38 weeks no more progress😞 Have been having back and pelvic pain too. Good luck!

Sometimes yes and sometimes no lol with my first I was 2c for two weeks and had her at 37 weeks.. This time I'm almost 36 weeks and nothing lol

I am in your shoes. I am close to 2 centimeters and have been since 35 weeks currently 36weeks 1 day and I feel a ton of pressure in my bottom and it feels like I have been kicked in the crotch thanks too Pelvic girdle pain and I am still pregnant! So this can last for days to weeks. Personally I am hoping for days! Due July 26th

I am 35w 3 days and my doctor told me today I am 3cm dilated 😱 she said it means nothing. My back hurts so bad.

It is possible to dialate really fast. You can go from 1 cm to 10 in 5 hours, 5 days, or 5 weeks. But don't expect labor to start soon because you're at a 1 right now. Being a first time mom it's likely labor will come later and be slower. But nothing is a guarantee. You could deliver in a week, or a month, and labor could be a few hours or a two day event. Being 1 cm with lots of back pain at 35 weeks is a completely normal pregnancy symptom.

With my first I had back was hurting real bad and when I went into L&D they said it was back contractions and next thing you know 7 hours later I had my son.
