Different smells
I had my Mirena inserted during the last week of April and I've noticed that I now have a weird smell coming from my lady parts. At my 1 month check up I was tested for a yeast infection and was found to have a buildup of yeast. They gave me meds for it and the smell went away for like a day and then was back. I feel like I can smell it all the time but I've asked both my mom and my boyfriend if I smell "off" and they both said I didn't smell different at all.
It's not so much a bad smell but it's different then my pre-Mirena smell (which I feel like I didn't smell at all). And to be frank it's very annoying being so self-conscious all the time. I've googled this and it seems like most women develop a fishy type smell but this is not that.
