Has anyone taken the rocephin shot while pregnant?

Is it safe? I miscarried my last baby in Sept so I am just terrified of everything this pregnancy. I'm 4 weeks

Hey how did everything go and did you atekt he shot? I'm curious because I have the same issues and my doctor recommended the shot and gave it to me; I'm 17 weeks and it has helped me a lot but I'm scared now! Lol crazy as it sounds I'm just paranoid and I don't go back to the doctor until the 31.

The reason it was a shot is because it's an infection in my throat, and has caused some pretty intense swelling.

If your doctor is recommending it then it's okay to have while pregnant

Taking the antibiotic is safer than having an infection during pregnancy. It seems strange to go right to the shot without taking oral antibiotics but the doc has his reasons I'm sure.
