I read to wait to have alcohol (if you are going to drink) til you are out of 1st trimester. It's one of those things where you'll probably be fine if it's just one glass and no more, but you have to be aware of the risk and be willing to take that chance.

What is the point? If i drink its for the intention of catching a buzz. You can totally wait until after baby is born.

Now if your questioning if you drank before you knew you were pregnant and if baby will be ok. Then the answer is yes.  Placenta doesn't take over untill about 12 weeks so before then,  baby isn't being affected by what you eat or drink.

When I was pregnant with my son before I found out I was pregnant I went on a night it and drank loads then found out the week after. My son is fine and healthy. (I didn't know I was pregnant My contraception failed) My friend drank wine with a meal before she found out and her pregnancy fine at the minute. But safe bet is just not to but I'm sure 1 won't hurt xxx
