The risk is listeria. They treat deli meats now to reduce the chance of containing listeria. The most recent outbreaks/recalls on listeria have been on frozen veggies and ice cream (blue bell). Pre mixed salads are more likely to contain listeria than lunch meat.

It can. If listeria is on it, yes it could. But listeria is not that common. Ive had one deli sandwhich the whole time and im fine.. I couldnt resist lol. I just asked when the package was opened, and if it was opened that day or the day before, i bought it. Otherwise i didnt. Use your own judgement.

It has a chance of harming the baby but what I did was I put the meat in the microwave for 10 seconds then put it in the fridge to cool down 😊 it worked and made it safe
