Ex absent through pregnancy...thoughts?

Ex has been absent through pregnancy but wants to be present for birth? Anybody gone through this? Thoughts?

I think if you can get along enough, let him be there. He will never be able to get that moment back. You will have a lifetime of probably having to be the bigger person and trying to get along. Coparenting isn't easy but it's not about you (or him) but the baby....

I think you shouldn't let him. Especially if it makes you uncomfortable. You need to feel safe and relaxed during labor and delivery.

When me and my ex was first together he wasn't there for me through my pregnancy and didn't even really buy anything. I still let him be there when I gave birth and 15 months later he's amazing farther and see her twice every week and help with stuff. I'm about to have our second daughter in August.

Not happening , same with my child's father, you weren't there so why try to be there now nope

Personally!! I would let him be there!! That's one thing he will never be able to experience again, give him the chance to be a good dad! Maybe from his point of vue (narrow minded) you were only pregnant you can get on with it... But that's my opinion.

I have 🙋 so when the time came to have the baby I didn't even bother calling 😎  had the baby on my own with just my momma there.. it was great 😋..  my kids are now 8 & 6 and he's still absent 😂
