So about 2 weeks ago I was approached by my boss at work who is also my mother in law. A position in our office has came available and yes I was interested in it. I work part time doing clerical work such as pay bills and record the bills. The position I currently hold I get paid hourly and I make about $1200 a month the other job that I was interested in only pays $750 a month. Keep in mind I am not guranteed this other job because it is a elected position. My baby is due in Sept so if I keep my job that I have now I will be on maternity leave without pay but my husband and I do have some money out back for that reason. I am also worried that if I quit my job for the elected position I may not make enough to help pay my bills each month. I can't work both job because of conflict of interest. I am at wits end because my husband says I should take the elected position so I can be a stay at home mom for a while but I like working. I am so upset about this i,have no clue what to do and also I am not guarnteed either job come May 2017. My mother in law and boss is the township supervisor and she may not get re-elected next year. I'm not sure what to do and I need help.
