Approaching labor??

Ill be 38 weeks Saturday.. And for the past two days my son has been "pushing down" a lot and I get bad pressure especially when I walk. And I was cramping almost all day yesterday but not so much today. Can bby pushing down mean he's coming very soon?? I am scheduled to be induced in a week and a half.

I'll be 38w Saturday too!! I'm patiently waiting 🙇🏽 I have a feeling I'll make it to my due date tho 😩 and I don't have anything set up yet to be induced which I really don't want to be!!

You're getting close, but it's not a sign of labor yet. Pressure is good as baby is getting into position and the cramps mean that your cervix is changing (dilating and/or thinning). It's been like that for me for a couple weeks now!

Not a sign of labor. It's a sign of being 9 months pregnant and uncomfortable.

same here. Exactly 38 weeks on Saturday. Currently 1 cm dialated and 50% effaced. Doesn't really mean much but it's a good indication that my body is changing and getting ready for labor. Been having a lot more cramps and pressure down there the past 3 days and a lot bowel movements too. Just gotta stay active and hope baby will be here soon. Baby will come when she's ready!!
