Tooth or Epstein pearl?

Hi my 4 month old who is normally very happy has become very grumpy over last 3 days screaming most of the day and Night and a temperature. I have noticed this white hard lump where my thumb is in her mouth. I thought it was a tooth but heard its uncommon to start with teeth there. Any ideas whether it's a tooth or Epstein pearl I have read it could be. Thanks in advance

Pearl. My pediatrician said it is highly unusual for a baby to get molars before the front teeth. Plus that looks pretty high on the gumline to me. Poor baby though. 😢

I dont know what that other thing is but even if that is a tooth which it could be not alm children go in a certain order, thats really high placement. Id call a dentist.
