Getting your daughters ears pierced???

How many weeks or months should you wait to pierced your daughters ears??

I'm planning on waiting till they are old enough to voice an opinion. My parents did the same and I got them pierced when I was 10.

When she's old enough to decide if that's what she wants. Imo.

I'm a big believer in waiting until they can consent on their own. Bodily autonomy and all that. But, if you're dead set on it, make sure you go somewhere that pierces with a needle. Piercing guns harbor shit tons of bacteria and cause blunt trauma to the ear.

Got my daughters at 3 months. She slept through it and never bothered them.

Until she can actually consent to it and tell you herself she wants her body pierced..... but that's just my opinion. :-)

As a rite of passage when they get their first period, that is if they want them done at all.

I wanted to do it early but I'd rather take her to professional piercer instead of somewhere like Clair's because their tools can't be cleaned correctly. I isn't want to risk her getting hep C or something.
